This 3-ingredient blueberry lemonade slushie is one of those almost-too-easy recipes that still feels special every single time. My cousin Martha serves this bright purple pitcher at every spring gathering, and it’s always the first thing to disappear from the counter. It’s just frozen blueberries, lemonade, and ice whirled together into a frosty, spoonable slush that looks gorgeous in a big clear glass bowl. It’s so ridiculously easy that I’ve started making it every weekend for my family—perfect for backyard playdates, Sunday porch sitting, or a quick treat after yard work.
Serve this slushie in a clear glass serving bowl or pitcher set on the kitchen counter, then let everyone ladle it into small glasses or mason jars with straws or spoons. It pairs nicely with simple spring and summer foods: grilled chicken, burgers, veggie trays with ranch, or a big bowl of popcorn for movie night. For adults, you can top it off with sparkling water or a splash of chilled white wine; for kids, a dollop of whipped cream or a few extra frozen blueberries on top makes it feel like dessert.
3-Ingredient Blueberry Lemonade Slushie
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients
2 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups cold prepared lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups ice cubes
Directions
Place the frozen blueberries into a blender first so they’re closest to the blades.
Pour in the cold lemonade over the blueberries.
Add the ice cubes on top.
Blend on high until the mixture is thick, smooth, and slushy, stopping to stir or scrape down the sides if needed. This usually takes 30–60 seconds depending on your blender.
Taste and, if you’d like it sweeter or more tart, add a splash more lemonade and blend again.
