This little 3-ingredient strawberry fluff salad is what I call my “pink cloud bowl.” It’s the sort of dish that shows up at every church basement potluck and baby shower out here in the Midwest, usually in a pretty crystal bowl right in the middle of the table. The first time I brought it to Sunday dinner, my mother-in-law took one bite, set down her fork, and asked for the recipe on the spot. It’s sweet, simple, and feels like something your grandma might’ve whipped up in her farmhouse kitchen—no fussing, no fancy steps, just three pantry-friendly ingredients that turn into a soft, rosy cloud of dessert salad.
Serve this strawberry fluff well-chilled in a glass or crystal serving bowl so the pink color can really shine. It’s lovely next to a simple Sunday supper—baked ham, meatloaf, or a roast chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. For gatherings, I like to set it on a speckled granite or neutral countertop with a long-handled spoon and some small dessert bowls so folks can help themselves. It pairs nicely with coffee after a meal, or you can tuck a spoonful alongside a slice of angel food cake for an extra-special treat.
3-Ingredient Strawberry Fluff Salad
Servings: 8

Ingredients
1 (8 oz) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
Directions
Chill a medium mixing bowl in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes so everything stays nice and cool as you mix.
In the chilled bowl, pour in the sweetened condensed milk and add the strawberry pie filling. Gently stir until the mixture is evenly pink and the berries are distributed throughout.
Add the thawed whipped topping to the bowl. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped topping into the strawberry mixture until no white streaks remain and the salad looks like a soft pink cloud.
Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until well chilled and slightly thickened. This helps the flavors blend and the texture set up.
Just before serving, give the salad a gentle stir to refresh the texture, then spoon it into a clean crystal serving bowl. Set it on the table and serve cold, scooping into small bowls or dessert cups.
