My sister brings these to every August porch party and it only takes 4 ingredients to make a flaky golden crowd pleaser.

 

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain any excess grease and let the beef cool for a few minutes.

2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and gently roll it just enough to smooth the seams. Spread the cooled cooked beef evenly over half of the pastry, then sprinkle the shredded white cheese over the beef.

3. Fold the empty half of the pastry over the filling and press lightly. Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide. Twist each strip several times and place the twists on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
