‘Snack Attack’: Just 3 ingredients. I make these nonstop every New Year in January.
Variations & Tips
For a little twist, you can swap the semi-sweet chocolate for milk chocolate if you like things sweeter, or dark chocolate if you want a richer, more grown-up flavor. If you prefer unsalted peanuts, just add a pinch or two of flaky sea salt on top of each cluster before they set—it looks pretty and gives that sweet-salty bite. To make these feel a bit more special for the holidays, stir in a handful of mini marshmallows or sprinkle the tops with crushed candy canes or festive sprinkles. If you’re trying to keep things on the lighter side, use lightly salted or unsalted dry-roasted peanuts and a higher-cacao dark chocolate. These also meal-prep really well: make a batch on Sunday, let them set, and then portion a few into small snack bags or containers for the week so you have a built-in treat for lunchboxes or afternoon slumps. You can also mix in other nuts—like almonds or cashews—or a small handful of raisins or dried cranberries for a trail-mix-style cluster.
