Red Colander Hanging Flower Orb
Materials
2 bright red plastic colanders (approximately 10 inches in diameter)
10-12 thick black zip ties (8 inches long)
2 everyday yard finds (such as sturdy sticks or metal hooks for hanging)
Garden wire (optional, for additional hanging support)
Directions
Place one colander upside down on a flat surface.
Stack the second colander on top, right side up, creating a sphere shape with both rims touching.
Thread a zip tie through one of the holes in the rim of the top colander, looping it through a hole in the bottom colander’s rim. Secure it tightly.
Continue threading zip ties at intervals around the colander rims to ensure they are tightly secured together, forming a complete orb.
Once the colanders are secured, use additional zip ties to attach your chosen yard finds to the top of the orb. If using sticks, ensure they are placed symmetrically for balance.
Add garden wire to reinforce the hanging mechanism if needed, looping it through the top zip ties and your chosen yard find.
