Wow, this is my first time trying this and it’s delicious! Definitely having it again tomorrow!

Blueberry cream cheese bread is a delightful treat that combines the tangy richness of cream cheese with the sweet burst of blueberries. It’s a recipe that brings comfort and joy, perfect for a cozy family breakfast or a sweet afternoon snack. This bread is a favorite in our small Midwestern town, where blueberries are a cherished summer fruit. Making this bread is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and share a slice of happiness with loved ones.
This blueberry cream cheese bread pairs beautifully with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. For breakfast, consider serving it alongside a fresh fruit salad or a warm cup of coffee. It’s also lovely with a spread of butter or a drizzle of honey for an extra touch of sweetness.
Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread
Servings: 8
Ingredients
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, toss the blueberries with a tablespoon of flour to coat. This helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the bread.
In a large bowl, whisk together the remaining flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
In another bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, to the butter and cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the blueberries.
